About Adam
Adam is a Water Regulations Lead Technician at Welsh Water (Dŵr Cymru). He took the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (L3AAVRA).
The challenge
Adam needed to develop the formal skills required to assess and confirm the competence of technicians within the water regulations sector. As a Water Regulations Lead Technician, he may face challenges in ensuring that assessments are fair, consistent and based on sufficient evidence while maintaining regulatory and workplace standards. The qualification will support him in planning assessments, making sound assessment decisions and providing constructive feedback to technicians as part of his lead role.
